Something I was working on, literally and metaphorically, for 2022!

While we’re under lockdown and the permitted morning dog walk is the highlight of the day. Warwickshire in Spring is so beautiful and I’m trying to record a little each day: it’s changing quickly at the moment, getting greener all the time.
I’m dedicating these to everyone who isn’t fortunate enough to be able to stroll out into the countryside each day.
Here’s today’s walk (April 13th 2020): Wilmcote to Great Alne. Hedgerow: undergrowth with dandelions.
It’s been a while but I’m painting again. Titania, a commission for a friend, safely delivered today

Ooh yum. Little weaving experiments. I couldn’t resist it after seeing the wonderful Anni Albers exhibition at Tate Modern last week.

‘Nearer God’s Heart’
“I am convinced that in its quiet way Warwickshire is one of the most beautiful areas of Britain, as well as being home of course. The colours and textures of the fields and trees change daily and form a much loved and compelling tapestry.”
Pablo’s made herself so comfortable in the studio today that I’ve had to change my plans completely…
